MapsRepo is a free, open library of high-quality map images available under Creative Commons licenses. Our mission is to make maps accessible to everyone.
MapStock started with a simple frustration: finding high-quality, freely usable maps online was harder than it should be. Scattered across dozens of sites, locked behind paywalls, or buried in restrictive licenses, good maps were difficult to find and even harder to use legally.
We set out to build a single destination where anyone can discover, download, and use professionally crafted maps for education, design, journalism, research, and creative projects – all at no cost and with clear licensing.
Today, MapsRepo hosts a growing collection of political, labeled, outline, and blank maps contributed by cartographers and designers from around the world.
